Copyright Notice

bla bla blaaaaa....

All the text and pictures on this Web page are copyright 1995-present by Chris Johnson except where noted.

Here are the terms of my copyright, in plain english..

All non commercial use is permitted with the following provision.  If you have a personal home page or non-commercial Web service, please feel free to use my photographs with hyper linked credit. An acceptable HTML is

photographs courtesy <a href="http://www.cjsatomicdiner.org/index.html">Chris Johnson</a>
or maybe
photographs courtesy <a href="http://www.cjsatomicdiner.org/YELPIC.HTML">Chris Johnson</a>
for a Yellowstone picture. Use your judgment for the exact HTML, whatever you feel is the most appropriate for your readers, as long as it is somewhere at http://www.cjsatomicdiner.org.

That way people know who took the picture and also can find my on-line copyright statement. You do not need to pay for usage.  I would like to know if you do use something of mine for a web page or school project or whatever, just for my own amusement.  Besides, that's common courtesy.

Basically give credit if showing it to other persons outside your own home.

Please do not directly link to my photos in such a way that they look like a part of your pages (also known as leeching). Copy the image to your site and link to that and give credit.  I have to pay if this site gets too much use.

Commercial use of photos-

Not likely.  This includes using them in advertising, selling postcards, photo CD's, magazines where people pay for the magazine, anything someone has to pay for.  You could ask, I might say yes.

Text and Stories

Please feel free to redistribute via hardcopy or email for non commercial purposes any of my writings, but please attribute the source in such a way that someone can find the web page.

Please feel free to copy onto your non-commercial web site any text or stories as long as you include a hyperlinked credit. An acceptable HTML would be along the lines of

story courtesy <a href="http://www.cjsatomicdiner.org/index.html">Chris Johnson</a>
As with the pictures, use your judgment as to the particular HTM document on my site that it would be most appropriate for you to link to.
